Here are the answers to all of your questions concerning the website CANAC.ca, the store locator, gift cards and special offers, etc.
HOW DO I CREATE AN ACCOUNT?
You must click on “SIGN IN” at the top left corner of the page and fill in the requested information. Creating an account will allow you to save, share, and print your shopping lists.
WHAT IS A SHOPPING LIST?
A shopping list provides a wish or item list for a variety of purposes. It can also be used as a reference for a future store visit. All items on the website can be added to this list. It can be printed and transferred by email. You can also create several lists and name them according to your project; for example: "Bathroom", "Garden", etc.
WHY SPECIFY STORE LOCATION?
Selecting a particular store enables our inventory system to specify product availability according to the location. The price and availability of products may vary from one store to another.
HOW DO I CHANGE STORE LOCATION?
You can change store location by using the store localizer found at the top right corner of the page. You will then be able to change stores by clicking on the map.
WHERE CAN I FIND MY STORE’S CONTACT INFORMATION?
After selecting a store using the store localizer (top right), click on “View Page” to display the complete store information. You can also go to the page Store Locator to select and view specific store information from the list.
WHY CAN’T I FIND A CERTAIN PRODUCT ON THE SITE?
Although CANAC offers an extensive selection of products on its site, certain items are not posted online for several reasons: limited quantities in our stores, discontinued or untreated products, etc. For further details, contact your nearest store.
WHICH CREDIT CARDS ARE ACCEPTED IN STORES?
All CANAC stores accept Visa and MasterCard credit cards.
HOW DO I OPEN A CUSTOMER ACCOUNT?
In order to complete either a personal or business customer account application, you must visit the Customer Account page and download the form reflecting your situation (Personal or Business). You can submit it by email to
firstname.lastname@example.org, by fax to 1-866-872-8910, or by dropping it off at one of our stores.
WHAT ARE THE STORE HOURS ?
Monday - Friday: 8:00 am - 9:00 pm
Saturday: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Sunday : Closed (for an indefinite period due to the situation of Covid-19)
Note that all stores are closed on the following dates :
- January 1
- December 25
- Easter Sunday
- June 24
- July 1
- Labour Day (1st Monday of September)
